New Delhi: Local leaders and residents of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Thursday staged protests against the terror camps thriving in the region.
Residents of various areas such as Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Chinari, Mirpur, Gilgit, Diamer & Neelum Valley in PoK expressed that their lives have been miserable and have been made a living hell by the terror training camps in and around the areas.
A local leader of Muzaffarabad, PoK, said that the banned organisations and terror camps in the region are provided food and ration, which is highly condemned by the people living there.
One of the residents of Kotli opined that terrorism needs to be eliminated and that giving shelter to terrorists would not solve the issue, but rather worsen it.
An infuriated Giglit local said that they will have to step in and take some action if the management does not end Taliban camps and ‘no-go’ areas in Diamer, Gilgit, Baseen and others.
