New Delhi: After a startling revelation that the Pakistan government is a puppet in the hands of Pakistan army, the latter has given a five-day ultimatum to the Nawaz Sharif government to find out how the information revealing the rift between the civilian and military leaderships was leaked in the 'Dawn' which was published by Cyril Almeida.

After the report in the media, Almeida was barred from leaving the country. Almeida had reported that the civilian government had warned the military leadership of a growing international isolation of Pakistan and sought action against banned terror groups, like Hafiz Saeed’s LeT, Masood Azhar’s JeM and the Haqqani network, or face international isolation.

In the current scenario if reports are to be believed, Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif is in a Catch-22 situation. It is clear from the reports that Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif is in on a close watch of the army.

With Pakistan army chief Raheel Sharif's tenure as the General coming to an end, there are speculations of a coup, but even if it happens it would not be too surprising for Pakistan as it has happen before in the breeding ground of terror.
