New Delhi: In a shocking incident of brutality against women, a Pakistani police guard was caught slapping a female journalist on camera. The scribe was physically manhandled while she was reporting in Karachi.
In the footage that has gone viral, the personnel of Frontier Constabulary (FC) deployed as a guard is seen trying to stop her. He confronted the TV channel’s cameraman telling him to stop recording and he tried to dodge away from the camera.
When the anchor diverted the camera on him, he slapped her. Then he fired few rounds of live bullets in the air from his service rifle.
The anchor, who is with K-21 channel, was reporting live on problems faced by citizens at Nadra area.
Police have registered a case against the guard over the charge of assaulting the reporter and conducting aerial firing.
