New Delhi: A blast in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo city of Goma on Tuesday injured 32 Indian peacekeepers and led to the death of one child.
The peacekeepers were out for a morning run in the western Goma neighbourhood of Keyshero, when the blast him them.
An Imam at a nearby mosque, Ismael Salumu told Reuters, “We just heard the explosion and the cries. We then ran over to see.” He further said that three peacekeepers were killed.
