New Delhi: Reiterating that Donald Trump’s presidency will be good for India, a key Indian-origin member Shalabh Kumar of Trump’s advisory council has said that US President elect plans to declare Pakistan a terror state when the legislation reaches him.
“A key step that the new president is expected to take is to give assent to the US Congress bill that has been introduced in the house to declare Pakistan a terror state when the legislation reaches him,” Kumar told The Economic Times.
Earlier on Tuesday, Congressmen Ted Poe and Dana Rohrabacher had introduced the ‘Pakistan State Sponsor of Terrorism Designation Act’ in the House. The legislation asks the Country’s administration to provide a report on designation of Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism.
