Just a few hours after Lahore’s Mall Road explosion, another explosion was reported in Balochistan’s Quetta city near Saryab Road.
As per reports, the blast took place near the stock exchange. According to sources, two soldiers from the Pakistani bomb disposal squad were killed in the blast.
The bomb exploded while the members of the bomb disposal squad were trying to disarm the bomb placed near a bus stop.
The two personnel were reportedly killed on the spot. While reports stated that one of the deceased has been identified as Commander Abdul Razzaq. Four policemen were severely wounded.
The injured were shifted to the civil hospital.
Earlier, a couple of hours ago a massive explosion took place near the Punjab Assembly at Mall Road, Lahore killing 16 people and leaving scores injured.
