At least 11 Taliban militants were killed and 5 wounded when Afghan forces struck at the militant group’s hideout in Logar province, the Interior Ministry said on Monday. “General Command of Police Special Units launched a security operation in Mohammad Agha district on Sunday,” Xinhua news agency cited a statement as saying.
The special force also destroyed 10 motorcycles, 8 drums full of explosives and two rockets during the raid.
“Four police officers were also wounded but no civilian was harmed during the operation,” the statement said.
