Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau donned a ‘desi’ look on Sunday while attending 10th anniversary of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto.
Trudeau was dressed in a blue Indian kurta and pyjama and completed the look with a flower garland around his neck as he took part in the rituals and celebrations.
Later, The Canadian PM took to micro-blogging site Twitter and termed the BAPS Mandir ‘an architectural masterpiece’ and a place for communal harmony.

Former Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson and current Indian ambassador to Canada, Vikas Swarup also graced the occasion.
Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) is a socio-spiritual Hindu organization with its roots in the Vedas. According to its website, the organisation has conducted several charitable events including walkathons, disaster relief operations and blood donation drives and has received many national and international awards for its universal work.
