Jamat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief and 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed has officially enrolled his name in the world of politics by launching his political party ‘Milli Muslim League’ and will be aiming to contest 2018 general elections in Pakistan.

The man who has inflicted pain in the world by orchestrating terror attacks throughout these years will be now seeing hiding behind ballots as he looks all set to present his political agenda among the Pakistani masses.

It will be more bewildering and paradoxical to see a man like Hafiz Saeed running a ‘political party’ which is nothing but another face of terror called Milli Muslim League despite being under house arrest in Pakistan.

As per reports, Saifullah Khalid, senior leader of Jamat-ud-Dawah has been named President of the newly formed political party.

Saeed changed the name of his organisation Jamat-ud-Dawah, claimed to be the charitable wing of the LeT, to Milli Muslim League Pakistan and is planning to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan to register his party.

“It is both ironical and disconcerting to notice that such an individual is perhaps wanting to hide his blood-stained hands behind the ballot ink or the person who has traded in bullets to take human lives is trying to hide behind ballots,” External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay said during his weekly media briefing.
