Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday said Beijing attaches great importance to comprehensively advancing the rule of law and was willing to have more judicial cooperation with other countries.
Xi said this in a letter to prosecutors meeting here, Xinhua news agency reported.
The 22nd annual conference and general meeting of the international association of prosecutors opened here on Monday.
China on Friday also pledged support for Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism as the Foreign Ministers of both countries discussed the regional and international situation.
Addressing a press conference along with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi said both countries are “steady anchors for peace in the region” and that Beijing fully backs Islamabad in its fight against terrorism and supports it in safeguarding its sovereignty.”
