10 killed, over 50 injured in twin blasts in Lahore

LAHORE: According to the reports, ten people were killed and over 50 injured in twin blasts at Youhanabad in Lahore on Sunday.

The incident occurred at Youhanabad area of Lahore in Pakistan and the attackers targeted two Churches, Roman Catholic Church and Christ Church in Youhanabad.

According to the TV reports, the emergency and security teams have been sent to the blasts site. 

The injured have been admitted to Lahore’s General hospital. 

Reports suggest that two suicide bombers carried out the attacks in Lahore. They blew themselves at the gates of the two Churches.

Enraged mob lynched one man who was suspected behind the blasts and then set his body on fire. Two other suspects were arrested by police. 

Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan Jamatul Ahrar group (TTP-JA) has claimed the responsibility of the blasts.
