United States President Donald Trump on Sunday asserted that Republican Senator Bob Corker begged him for endorsement and later ‘dropped’ out of the re-election race in Tennessee. The US President took to social media and revealed that the Senator Bob Corker ‘begged’ the President to endorse him for re-election in Tennessee. Trump while orchestrating his attack Corker on his favourite bashing social media tool Twitter said, “Senator Bob Corker ‘begged’ me to endorse him for re-election in Tennessee. I said ‘no’ and he dropped out”.

The President also claimed that Senator Bob Corker also wanted to be Secretary of State to which Trump said ‘no thanks’. Trump said Corker is the one who is mainly responsible for the dreadful Iran Deal. “He also wanted to be Secretary of State, I said ‘No thanks.’ He is also largely responsible for the horrendous Iran Deal!,” Trump tweeted. In continuation to his bashing, Trump said that he expects Corker to be a negative voice as expects him to stand in the way of their great agenda. He also called out Corker and said he didn’t have the guts to run.

“Hence, I would fully expect Corker to be a negative voice and stand in the way of our great agenda. Didn’t have the guts to run!,” the President tweeted. While on the other hand, Bob Corker retaliated as he unleashed a fresh attack on President by calling Trump’s White House “an adult day care center”.

“It’s a shame the White House has become an adult day care center,” Corker said. “Someone obviously missed their shift this morning,” Corker tweeted. In September, Senator Bob Corker made it clear that he wouldn’t seek re-election when his term comes to an end next year. The Senate’s foreign relations committee chairman took his post in 2015 and this is the lawmaker’s only second term.
