Amit Shah on 3-day visit to northeast

JP Nadda, the president of the BJP, will also go to events in Assam.

Beginning on Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will go on a three-day northeast visit. While there, he will meet with BJP leaders and open a dairy colloquium in Sikkim before launching a number of initiatives in Assam.

JP Nadda, the president of the BJP, is also expected to arrive in Assam on Friday night to attend events for the party.

Shah posted the following on Twitter: “Leaving for the Northeast on my 3-day trip to Sikkim and Assam. The “Eastern and North-Eastern Zones Dairy Cooperative Conclave-2022″ will begin today in Gangtok, and afterward there will be a number of events in Assam.”

The home minister will dedicate a statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Rajbhavan in Gangtok on October 7, according to Shah’s schedule as shared on the microblogging website by his office. He will then open the dairy conclave.

Later in the day, Shah would meet BJP’s core group in Sikkim before leaving for Assam.

The Assam BJP core committee will also meet with Shah and Nadda on Friday at the state guest home in Guwahati.
