Rahul Gandhi, head of the Congress, will engage the public when the Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes on Saturday in Tumakuru, Karnataka.

His third media appearance during the march is slated to begin at 1 pm today. Today was the 31st day of the yatra, which is currently on the Karnataka leg.

Veteran Congress leader Jairam Ramesh announced that the march started about 6:40 am.

Jairam Ramesh, a Congress lawmaker, tweeted “The #BharatJodoYatra’s Day 31 began at 6:40am. At Turuvekere at 1:00 p.m. today, @RahulGandhi will have his third news conference thus far while on the Yatra. Currently, we are in the Tumkur district.”

Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, asserted earlier on October 7 that the instructors brought up the topic of Kannada language and culture being “under threat.”

According to him, “adverse ideological forces are systematically attacking our educational system, and this onslaught has now extended to our curriculum.” The former president of Congress claimed that when he met with teachers and kids, they shared their worries with him.
