Jugal Thakor Lokhandwala, a Rajya Sabha representative for the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), criticised Rahul Gandhi’s “Bharat Jodo Yatra” on Friday, claiming it is actually “Nafarat failayo Yatra” instead.

Rahul Gandhi’s journey is intended to sow division among people, according to Thakor, “Congress has done the work of dividing the country into caste, region, and religion for 60 years, and even today they want to run the same politics. During 60 years of power, they have sowed hatred among people,” Thakor said. He went on to say that Congress did nothing throughout its 60 years in office.

The BJP leader went on to praise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work, saying, “Within 8 years of work, PM Modi brought the mission of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas which makes the country people rise above caste, region, and religion, but the Congress is still engaged in spreading hatred.

Rahul Gandhi, the former head of the Congress, hoisted the national flag at a temporary camp on the grounds of the Vivekananda technical institute close to the seashore in Kanniyakumari on Thursday before beginning his 3,570-mile padayatra.

Rahul Gandhi and his 118 other Bharat Jodo Yatri (BJY) pilgrims will be referred to as Bharat Yatris for the foreseeable future. The goal is to engage the general public, bring attention to problems like unemployment, and open up a discourse with many facets of society.
