Fashion and apparel top brand Zara has launched its India based online portal from today. The Spanish brand which is widely popular in the youth of the country will make all its products available online for their customers.

India’s growing dominance in the e-commerce sector is a secret to none and Zara has now decided to make the most of the developing market.  This move from Zara India is in line with the current undergoing international expansion of the brand.   The Spanish fast-fashion brand will also sell via an application which will be available for both Android and IOS platforms.

Amid the festival season in India, when all the e-commerce giants like Flipkart and Amazon are dashing out offers to attract more and more customers, the lack of a proper fashion retailer was always evident online. But with Zara going online, the fashion freaks will now have an option to look for

The deliveries will see a rise in Zara’s already amassing popularity in India. The company has roped in two delivery firms Blue Dart Express and Gati for the task. According to the website, deliveries to the metro cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad will be completed within 2-4 working days while delivery in other cities will take around 5-8 days.

As per a report published in a major tabloid, a fee of Rs 299 will be charged on orders less than Rs 4000 and delivery for the total bill of above Rs 4000. The report also mentions that the company has opened a warehouse in Delhi to serve effectively to its customers in the capital. The exchange and return have also been kept free by Zara, which will save the customers a lot of hassles.

A part of Inditex group, Zara is one of the largest international fashion companies. The fashion giant reported sale of Rs 842 crores in 2016.
