Three people were detained by the Chhattisgarh Police on Monday for allegedly raping a minor girl.

Suraj Yadav (20), Jitendra Rajak (30), and Sunny Kumar NirmalKar have been named as the defendants (25). On September 13, the incident was reported at Murmunda, Basantpur PS, Rajnandgaon district.
Police Chief Superintendent Gaurav Rai said, “Three males attacked a 15-year-old girl in Murmunda on the evening of September 10. One of them took her up on the way home from work.”
The victim was reportedly instructed to drop off one of the suspects at her house before being taken to a secluded place where the suspect contacted his two accomplices and raped the girl.
In addition, the accused had intimidated the victim for keeping the event a secret.
Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act was used to file the lawsuit.
All three of the suspects have been taken into custody and will appear in court, according to CSP Rai.
