Cong Presidential Poll: Rahul Gandhi, leaders to vote at polling booth to be set up at Bharat Jodo Yatra camp

A special booth will be set up for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the 40 Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) delegates who are participating in the Bharat Jodo Yatra to cast their votes for the party’s president there.

The voting for the Congress presidential elections is planned to take place on 17th October, and the padayatra will stop for that day. Today was the 31st day of the yatra, which is currently on the Karnataka leg.

Jairam Ramesh, the head of the Congress, has made it plain that all people need to exercise their right to vote is an ID card.

At the travelling camp, all preparations have been prepared for their participation in the Congress President election.

The vote will be overseen by the Central Election Authority, which is under the direction of senior party leader Madhusudan Mistry.

October 8 is the final day for withdrawing nominations. Election results will be announced on October 19 after voting on October 17.

Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor are competing for the position of Congress president. Previously, KN Tripathi’s nomination for the Congress presidential election was turned down because of signature problems.
