NewsX has gained access to the information about the ED and NIA cases, which served as the basis for the home ministry’s decision to launch a statewide campaign against PFI leaders and members.
The extensive investigation of PFI across the nation came to fruition when the home ministry requested a report from the NIA and ED, who were looking into many instances in which PFI leaders and members were listed as suspects.
NIA has concentrated on the illicit operations of the criminal organisation, and the ED has been effective in identifying thier financial sources.
According to our inquiry, NIA charges against PFI include those involving terror camps in Telangana, attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the slaying of Praveen Nettaru in Karnataka, rioting in Karnataka, and the training of young people in Kerala in the use of explosives and firearms.
However, cases brought by the ED against PFI include money laundering cases against PFI and organizations linked to it, cases brought by the PMLA against PFI members in Kerala, cases involving PFI’s involvement in the Hathras incident, anti-CAA protests, and riots in Delhi, cases involving the Chinese connection to the Hathras Case, and attacks on the BJP and RSS leaders.
