Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) on Sunday. Candidates appearing for the exam have less than a day for the exam. Do not worry we bring you five tips that will help you sail through. Here are some tips are necessary for all candidates for the candidates appearing for CBSE UGC NET 2017 exam to be conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) on Sunday.
When and where will the CBSE UGC NET 2017 exam are conducted: The exam will be held in 91 cities across the nation. The exam will be held in three different shifts. Paper I will be conducted from 9.30 am to 10.45 am, paper II to will be held from 11.15 am to 12.30 pm and paper III will take place from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Entry to the examination hall will be allowed 2.5 hours before the exam time.
What should you study: If you are a candidate for the exam, you only have a couple of hours left for the preparations. It is not the best time to start any new topic one should have already completed all the topics mentioned in the syllabus. Even if you have not completed all the topics you should focus on the topics you have already prepared. Go through your notes and again and brush through the important topics.
What you need to carry for the exam: Things you need to carry for the exam: When you go for the examination it is imperative that you carry a blue and a black ballpoint pen along the admit card. The admit card is available for download on the official website of the UGC NET exam (cbsenet.nic.in). Prepare everything you need to carry for the exam one day before as it is better than forgetting things last moment.
How to answer the questions: The NET 2017 exam will be an objective exam and the candidates will be answering multiple choice questions on an OMR sheet. The candidates are advised to read the question paper carefully before answering the questions. To fill up the sheet please use a blue or a black ballpoint pen.
Be confident and do not be late for the exam: You need to be present for the exams on time do not be late or you will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Get proper sleep otherwise, you will feel lethargic during the exam. You need to be very sure where the examination centre is located otherwise you will waste a lot of time in finding the centre.
