The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad on Friday, 27, announced the date sheet for 10th and 12th exams. The students appearing for the 10th and 12th exams next year can access the exam date sheet on the official website at upmsp.edu. The students appearing for the exams can download their exam time table from the official website of the board as soon as it is released. Even though an official announcement by the board is awaited, speculations state that exams might fall in February next year.
According to the reports, last year following the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections the board exams were delayed. However, since no elections are taking place around that time, the exams are expected to be held on their announced time. As per a report by Indian Express, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is expected to announce new measures along with the exam dates to keep a tab on all kinds of malpractices, cheating, and fraud taking place during the examination period.
The following steps are said to be taken by keeping mass cheating and malpractices by students in mind. Earlier, the deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Sharma raised his voice for the benefit of the students appearing for the exams. Dinesh Sharma directed the office of the secondary education department in the state to declare the date sheet for the state board examinations by this month for the benefit of students. As per reports, the dates of UP Board 2018 exams will be announced at a programme organised at Allahabad.

The government has plans to introduce the NCERT pattern in examinations conducted by the UP Board to bring government school students on par with those in the CBSE-affiliated institutions, reports suggested. Every year around 50-60 lakh students in the state appears for the Uttar Pradesh class 10 and 12 examinations.
