Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) results are expected to be declared on November 30. The eligibility test is the entrance exam to check applicants knowledge base who will be recruited for primary and upper primary classes in government schools. UPTET 2017 entrance exam was held on October 15, 2017. Candidates who have attempted the entrance exam UPTET 2017 can check their results online once the merit list is published. Applicants will also be able to check their individual scorecard, mark sheet after it is listed on official site of Uttar Pradesh basic education board.

The purpose of UPTET (Teacher Eligiblity Test) is to recruit teachers for Primary and Upper primary classes in government schools in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can also check the expected cut off marks for Paper 1 and Paper 2 which was set to be available on the official website after the exam was conducted on October 15, 2017. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were in the form of written examination conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. The format of the question paper was Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). 

Once the candidates clear the UPTET 2017 entrance test after securing cut off or qualifying marks, they will be eligible to appear for the interview for the Primary Teacher Paper 1 and Upper Primary Teacher Paper 2.

How to check UPTET 2017 entrance exam result online:

  • To check results, applicants are required to log on to http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in/
  • Applicants should get ready with their registration number, roll number, username/password credentials, and other details which will be required to be put to verify the applicant. 
  • Applicants should enter their details to login into the candidates portal, once they are through with the details, click enter and check results. 
  • Applicants can also take print out of their results for further use by clicking on the print option which will appear on the screen.
