Eknath Shinde announces his Mumbai visit soon as CM Uddhav schedules cabinet meeting

Rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde announced he and other dissenting MLAs would soon be travelling to Mumbai in his first media appearance following his arrival in Guwahati.
Following a week of political unrest in the state of Maharashtra, the Supreme Court on Monday postponed the disqualification proceedings against the rebel MLAs led by Eknath Shinde until July 12 and requested responses to their claims that the notices issued by the Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Assembly were illegal.
On the Maharashtra government’s request that there be no floor test in the Assembly, the top court declined to provide any temporary orders.
Uddhav Thackeray reportedly attempted to resign twice, including on Monday, but Sharad Pawar, the leader of the NCP, dissuaded him.

“Our spokesperson, Deepak Kersarkar, will provide more information. There is no question that we support the Shiv Sena and are advancing it. We’ll clear our stand and head to Mumbai shortly “He spoke about the organisation called “Shiv Sena Balasaheb” that the rebel camp had established.
