New Delhi: Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi may join the Hollywood band wagon soon. As per reports, Qureshi has auditioned for the third instalment of ‘The Mummy’ franchise. The mega movie will feature Hollywood A-Lister Tom Cruise and Sophia Boutella who will play the lead antagonist.

Qureshi will then become one of the few Indian actresses to make it to Hollywood after Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

The versatile actress who made her breakthrough with ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ is about to make her debut in a Malayalam film ‘White’ for the very first time with South Indian megastar Mammootty.

Qureshi has finished filming for ‘Zahhak’, a remake of the Hollywood film Oculus in which her brother Saqib Saleem will also be seen.

In recent times, few Indian have actors joined Hollywood genus by putting a mark of Indian talent in global show business.

Deepika is shooting for her Hollywood debut ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’ opposite Vin Diesel.

Meanwhile former Miss World Priyanka Chopra is filming scenes for ‘Baywatch’ opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Zac Effron. The actress first broke the stereotypical Indian image on American television with her lead role of an FBI agent in ‘Quantico’. She also became the first Bollywood celeb to present at the Oscars 2016.
