Brahmotsavam: Movie review, story and live audience response

Hyderabad: The much- awaited Telugu movie ‘Brahmotsavam’ that features Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu was released on Friday. Mahesh Babu can be seen sharing the silver-screen with three beautiful heroines – Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha Subhash.
The movie is directed and written by Srikanth Addala. Brahmotsavam have already created a lot of buzz among the audience with its posters and trailer. The movie is all about family values, emotions and traditions. The movie teaches how a small celebration ‘utsav’ in a family can become a grand celebration ‘Brahmotsavam’.
The main plot of Brahmotsavam revolves around a young man, Ajay (Mahesh Babu) who sets out to discover his roots. The story is about a family comprising a brother (Satyaraj) and his six sisters in Vijayawada who got separated due to some reasons. The son of the brother Ajay sets to reunite them. The main crux of the story is how Ajay reunites this family with the help of his maradalu (sisters-in-law, played by Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha).
The plot of the movie is somewhat similar to other Telugu films but Srikanth Addala’s execution of the subject has made it a perfect family entertainer. Mahesh Babu has delivered a wonderful performance, which is the highlight of Brahmotsavam. The roles of Samantha, Kajal and Pranitha are crucial and they have done justice to them. The movie features artist like Naresh, Sathyaraj, Jayasudha, Revathi, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani and others.
The music of the movie is scored by composer Mickey J Meyer which is really soothing and got some positive response from audience. The movie is produced by Prasad V Potluri under the banner of PVP Cinema.
