New Delhi: The prayers of Bollywood and cricket fans all over the world were answered when the trailer of one the most-anticipated movies of the year, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ was launched. After launching the trailer in Jalandar, in quite an unexpected way, the former Indian skipper along with the producer Arun Pandey, CEO of Fox Star Studio Mr. Vijay Singh headed to the national capital for the promotion and the teaser launch.

The trailer of the Bollywood movie ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ was launched in an extravagant manner in Jalandar as the trailer was unveiled in front of approximately 35,000 people at Lovely Professional University in Punjab. Now, many of you must be wondering that why the trailer was first unveiled in Jalandar! Well, when MSD was asked the same question he said, “There is a purpose why we chose this city to release the trailer. Jalandhar is famous for its cricket bats which we all use.”

A lot may be known about the life and career of the Indian skipper, but the trailer promises that the film will shed light on not just the glory moments, but also the early trials and parental pressures along with the overall struggles that Dhoni had to deal with before he became an internationally renowned player.

A lot of pressure will ride on Sushant Singh Rajput’s shoulders to pull off the titular role, but the trailer suggests that the actor might do so because of the work he’s put into mastering the game, his dialect, body language and stance.

The trailer of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ certainly hits a six, in the last frame as Dhoni/Sushant wins his famous winning shot at the 2011 World Cup, while Ravi Shastri’s ecstatic voice makes the audience puff up with pride.

The movie ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is a biopic based on Dhoni’s inspiring journey from a TTE (train ticket examiner) to the world’s best skipper.

Helmed by ace director Neeraj Pandey, produced by Arun Pandey and Fox Star studios, the film is all set to release on September 30th, 2016.
