New Delhi: The much-awaited Colors TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss 10’, hosted by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, kick-started on Sunday night with a grand opening.

The format for this season is quite different as it will see celebs and commoners staying together inside the house for three months. Keeping in mind the latest concept, the anchor introduced commoners and celebrities one by one.

Among all the contestants, one of the commoner contestants has a cricket connection. She is none other than Akanksha Sharma — the estranged wife of Yuvraj Singh’s younger brother Zorawar Singh. Right before her introduction, Akanksha revealed her tragic story of her separation with her husband. Akansha, who is a resident of Gurgaon married Zorawar a few years ago but unfortunately her marriage lasted only for four months. She revealed that the reason behind her broken marriage was her mother-in-law, Shabnam Singh.

In the meantime, Zorawar and Yuvraj’s mother while talking to leading national daily Hindustan Times spilled the beans on the allegations made by the Bigg Bosss 10 contestant saying, “First of all, this matter is sub judice and she (Akanksha) is not allowed to speak. It goes under the contempt of court. There’s a special petition I had filed. Anyone can understand the agenda here and everybody knows it. We are not allowed to speak on this matter.”

Shabnam further added, “Somebody has to take the brunt, so it’s fine if it’s me. God bless, is all I can say to her. Let her go on and say what she has to say. Even I have enough to talk and share my side of the story. But I just don’t want to get into any mud-slinging. She’s also someone’s daughter and she’s doing what she’s being instructed to.”

Mrs Shabnam was surprised that Akansha has decided to speak up after two-and-a-half years; she said, “She could have done this earlier also but she didn’t. Just because she has got a platform now, she is saying all this.”

“Those who know me well it’s not that I would do something like that. People must know that we were the ones who first filed the divorce because we had some really strong reasons, so I had to do it. If she had to take any action or say something against any alleged cruelty from my side, she could have done that earlier as well or filed a case back then,”

The divorce between Akanksha Sharma and Zorawar Singh is yet to be settled in court and Akanksha wants to start her life afresh inside the Bigg Boss house. She even added that she has no complaints against her husband or Yuvraj and she doesn’t even want any alimony from the family.
