New Delhi: Goa’s Director General of Police Muktesh Chander has appealed to Singer Mohammad Rafi’s fans to boycott Karan Johar’s latest controversial film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
“MD Rafi was one of the greatest singers of India and needs no certificate from anyone. If you are a Rafi Fan, boycott this movie,” Chander tweeted.
Anushka  Sharma’s dialogue “Mohammad Rafi? Woh gaate kam, rote zyada the na?” has made Goa DGP upset.
The singer’s family has also objected for the dialogue in the movie.
The movie has already faced protests where MNS raised flags over the presence of Pakistani artist Fawad Khan in the film after the Uri attack and the subsequent surgical strikes against militants along LoC by the Indian Army.
