Chennai: Actor Sanchita Shetty who played lead female character in Nalan Kumarasamy’s black comedy Soodhu Kavvum which was a critical and commercial success and the biggest success in Shetty’s career.
She made her first film appearance in the Kannada all-time Blockbuster film Mungaru Male as a friend to the film’s female lead
Once again she will be seen in an upcoming Tamil drama “Enkitta Mothathe”, which also stars cinematographer-actor Nataraj Subramaniam and Parvathy Nair in the lead.
The film’s story is set against the backdrop of 1980s and it’s about fan wars. Sanchita plays a hardcore Rajinikanth fan and her role has a lot to contribute, as per reports from the film’s unit.
Interestingly, Nataraj also plays a Rajinikanth fan and he paints the cut outs of the superstar for a living in the film.
Directed by Ramu Chellapa, the film is gearing up for release on December 2.
