Directed by famous choreographer and reality show judge Remo D’Souza, ABCD 2 featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan has hit the cinemas today.

Its prequel Any Body Can Dance (ABCD) had made its presence felt in a positive way on the Box office and hopes are now high with its sequel that is based on a true story of four boys who are part of a dance institute named Fictitious Dance Academy.

The trailer and the songs of ABCD 2 have already created a major buzz gaining positive responses from the audience. Well, even though critics would be busy picking up flaws in the movie, let’s take a look on 12 reasons why we should definitely watch this dancing hit.

Brand New Pairing

The newest pairing in Bollywood, Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan is actually refreshing. The duo has mesmerized the audience already with their dance stunts in the trailer itself. They have worked hard for the promotions of the movie and are definitely agreeably charming together.

Lovely Songs

Solace lyrics of the songs in the movie are a definite treat to the ears. From the peppiest song Happy Birthday to Bezubaan and Nach Meri Jaan, there are many such songs that are sure to leave a smile on your face. Emotionally driver track Chunar packed with powerful beats is certainly a big boost for the movie.

Beautiful Location

Well, since the movie is majorly shot in Las Vegas, it gives an opportunity to people, obviously who have not been to the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’ a great opportunity to explore Vegas on a wider canvas now.

Varun Dhawan

After his intense performance in Badlapur, the current heartthrob of Bollywood has certainly impressed his audience with great moves in his past movies. Now that he is in a movie that is totally dedicated to dancing, one can imagine the level of intensity in his performance now, obviously in a different way.

Varun has pulled out his character as Suresh whose dream is to become a great dancer and win championships extremely well.

Shraddha Kapoor

Petite and pretty daughter of Shakti Kapoor is another reason people should watch this movie. We have all seen her talent in Aashiqui 2. Well, it is to be noted that the beautiful actor also boasts of great singing skills. Seeing her in the movie as a dancer is a great deal as she has been training herself as a dancer ever since her childhood.
Prabhu Deva

Who would not want to see the dancing God on the big screen another time? In his role as Vishnu Sir, his bouncing dancing skills with Varun Dhawan are something you can vouch for.

True Story

People usually connect with movies that are real-life based. ABCD 2 is also based upon the struggle of choreographers Vishnu and Suresh from Mumbai who won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in 2002. So, that gives another reason to people to watch this movie.

Dancing Is All You Need

As seen in the trailer, Varun says, “We dance to express, not to impress.” The maddening dance moves by Shraddha and Varun will definitely make everyone fall in love with dance, once again.

Different Concept

We are definitely bored of those regular romantic dramas that are released on the big screens almost every Friday. Isn’t it? ABCD 2 is different from the league. It will leave each one entertained throughout and has promised to keep all that melodrama away in the movie. The happy ending of the movie is one of the biggest positive aspects of the movie as we definitely want to get back home with positive thoughts.

Different Dance Forms

It was obvious for ABCD 2 to have diverse forms as it is directed by Remo D’Souza. Several dance forms have shown its magic in the movie which is its USP. The hip-hop, salsa, Bollywood, modern, contemporary moves are sure to have us in awe.

Star Performers

Apart from Varun and Shraddha, ABCD 2 also has a cast leading professional dancers in important roles. Lauren Gottlieb, Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande, Pravin Bhosale, Sushant Pujari are amongst other professional dancers who have acted in the movie.

Remo D’Souza

Last, but not the least; the Director of the movie! The star choreographer has choreographed songs from movies like Cash, Rock On, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Student of The Year and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. D’Souza apart from the reality shows judge is one of the pioneers in introducing hip-hop and other international styles of dancing in Indian movie songs. Like his previous directorial projects including ABCD and FALTU, one could be sure of being floored this time also.
