Jackie Chan in India promoting ‘Kung Fu Yoga’; meets Salman Khan

Mumbai: Chinese film Industry action man Jackie Chan arrived in Mumbai on January 23 to kick off the promotions of his upcoming film, ‘Kung Fu Yoga’. The Indo-China film will also see Bollywood actor Sonu Sood sharing screen with Jackie Chan.
Catching up with film’s promotion, Jackie Chan met Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ actor shared an adorable pic of both of them together on his Twitter account.
Jackie Chan will also be seen promoting his movie in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Kapil took to his Twitter handle and shared this information. He tweeted, “Oh my god, Jackie Chan on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
Busy in promoting his film at different avenues in India, Jackie shared his desire to work in bollywood films. He said, “I want to do a Bollywood film, is there any director to hire me,” Jackie Chan.
“I do not want to do any action-comedy films. I am interested in doing romantic Indian films! You know 11 years ago, I tried to do a Bollywood film but that was so melodramatic and I could not fit into that. But now I think I can,” he added.
On Monday, while promoting his upcoming film, Sonu Sood got emotional remembering his father who passed away few months ago. The actor’s production house Shakti Sagar Productions is the presenter and distributor of the film in India.
Sharing his first memory of the film he told media here, “Before I started working on the project, I received a message from Jackie Chan’s office, saying they are doing a film and if I would like to be a part of the same.”
‘Kung Fu Yoga’, a multi-lingual and action-adventure comedy directed by Stanley Tong, will also feature Amyra Dastur, Disha Patani. The movie will hit theaters in India on February 3.
