New Delhi: ‘Raees’ star Shah Rukh Khan on Tuesday expressed condolence after a fan, who had come to see him, died following a cardiac arrest at Vadodara Railway, Gujarat on Monday night. Shah Rukh had arrived in the city on board the August Kranti Express on Monday to promote his upcoming film “Raees”.

The victim Farid Khan Pathan, a social activist of Hatikhana area of Vadodara, had arrived at the railway platform with his wife and daughter as the family was an avid follower of the actor. While in the crowd Pathan complained of suffocation before falling unconscious and suffering a cardiac arrest at the railway platform.

Speaking on the incident, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Unfortunate that incident took place inspite of the presence of security. My prayers are with the family of the deceased.”

 

However, victim’s kin on Tuesday said, “He was not there to see SRK, had come to meet someone but police started lathi-charge & he fell.”

Shah Rukh Khan who is out for the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Raees’, today arrived in Delhi. ‘King Khan’ is travelling in a train this time to visit places where he will be promoting his upcoming film.

 

 

 

Moments ago, massive crowds were witnessed at Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi to catch a glimpse of the ‘King of Romance.’

The Bollywood actor is travelling with the film’s director Rahul Dholakia and producer Ritesh Sidhwani from Mumbai to Delhi on the August Kranti Express train to promote ‘Raees’ which hits the screens this week on January 25.
