Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor on Monday took to social media to share the first look of her upcoming biopic ‘Haseena – The Queen of Mumbai’.
The cute actor who usually portrays the role of the girl-next-door will be seen donning a serious look for the movie. Shraddha will step in the shoes of Haseena Parkar, sister of wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim who took the charge of underworld after the death of her husband in Mumbai.

This is for the first time that Shraddha will be seen playing a lead role in a movie.

Shraddha’s real-life brother Siddhanth Kapoor will play the role of Dawood Ibrahim.
‘Haseena – The Queen of Mumbai’ is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is slated to hit the screens on July 14.
Recently, the Kapoor siblings broke down on the set of the movie while doing an intense scene.
A source from the unit was quoted saying, “Shraddha got so immersed in the scene that she started wailing. Unit hands were wondering what had happened since her tears didn’t stop even when the camera stopped rolling. Apoorva had to halt the shoot for an hour so that she could regain composure.”
There are many Bollywood movies that have been based on the underworld of Mumbai but none were made on the life of Dawood’s sister. It will be interesting to see if Shraddha will be able to justify such a challenging role.
