‘The Fakir Of Venice,’ which was supposed to be Farhan Akhtar’s Bollywood debut may finally hit the theatres after a nine-year delay.

Starring Farhan Akhtar and veteran Annu Kapoor, the film revolves around two conmen, who are hired to find a ‘fakir’ for an installation art project in Venice.

The first look of ‘The Fakir of Venice’ is now finally out and will mark the debut of Bollywood director Anand Surapur.

According to its new poster, which is now doing the rounds on social media, the film is going to hit theatres soon, but there is no official confirmation.

Speaking to DNA, Farhan’s co-star Annu Kapoor said, “It was Farhan’s first film with me, so better ask him how he felt working with a senior actor like me.”

As per some Bollywood insights, the film had to release before Farhan Akhtar’s musical blockbuster ‘Rock On!!’ in 2008.
