Actor Nawzuddin Siddiqui on Sunday posted an adorable picture of his tw0-year-old son Yaani, dressed as Lord Krishna for his school’s Janmashtmi function.
“I am glad to the school of my kid that gave him an opportunity to play the character of ‘natkhat nandlala’,” Nawaz wrote along with the picture.

It is important to note that Nawaz’s post comes a year after he pulled out of a Ramleela event held in his hometown Budhana, following Shiv Sena’s protests citing his religion.
The actor has been quite vocal about the pertinent issue of religious intolerance in the country and had earlier posted a video sharing an important message on religious equality.
Nawzuddin Siddiqui will next be seen in ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’ which is set to hit the screens on August 25. The film also features Divya Dutta, Murli Sharma, Jatin Goswami, Shraddha Das, Anil George, Jeetu Shivhare and Bhagwan Tiwari in pivotal roles.
