Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg has become the highest paid actor of 2017 by earning over $68 million before taxes and fees in the past 12 months.
Mark Wahlberg at 46 has made it to the top of the list of the highest paid actors of 2017 produced by Forbes. Mark has banged the highest amount of his career by doing high budget like ‘Transformers: The last night’ and comedy squeal Daddy’s ‘Home 2’ which is to be released in November this year.
Although the movie Transformers could not manage to be a hit-maker at the box-office, it surely didn’t make any difference in Wahlberg’s payday.
This comes a week after Forbes in a list of the highest paid female actors saw Emma Stone topping the chart with an astonishing figure of $26million.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who topped last year’s Forbes list by scoring $64.5 million was at the second position with $65 million, after starring in the big screen reboot of lifeguard action-comedy “Baywatch” and starred in HBO comedy “Ballers.”
Johnson’s ‘Fast and ‘furious’ co-star Vin Diesel was number three while Robert Downey Jr, Tom Cruise and Bollywood kings Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar rounded out the top ten.
