The recent news which is creating a lot of buzz in Tollywood is that Chiranjeevi’s younger son-in-law, Kalyan, is set to enter the film industry. Chiranjeevi’s second daughter Sreeja tied the knot in a grand reception with NRI businessman Kalyan in Hyderabad.

Kalyan, who is said to own his jewellery business in Hyderabad along with his family owners, is allegedly making his debut in Tollywood.

According to sources, Kalyan is being personally monitored by the megastar himself, who is doing all he can to make his son-in-law’s debut a grand success.

It is also said that Chiru approached ‘star-maker’ Satyanand (who has nurtured more than 100 A-list actors) to train Kalyan, and the latter is grateful.  According to latest reports, Satyanand, who earlier trained Pawan Kalyan, Ravi Teja, Tamil actor, Jayam Ravi, Varun Tej, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, etc., has already completed training Kalyan.

“Kalyan had undergone a three-month acting course in Vizag. It is a programme, which has a common syllabus — 100 chapters of theoretical concepts with situations, apart from various modules like dialogues, expressions, voice, diction, etc.,” a source told media.

The source further adds, “Kalyan did not throw any tantrums and was very cooperative. His performance, too, has been rather good. He comes across as a good observer and a quick learner.”

Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor, producer, politician and a member of the Indian National Congress. He was the Minister of State with independent charge for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Chiranjeevi has attended the Madras Film Institute, and had worked primarily in Telugu cinema, in addition to Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films.
