Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor who turned 35 on Wednesday, September 27 celebrated his birthday at his residence in Pali Hill apartment designed by Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan. The ‘Rockstar’ of Bollywood had a gala time with his friend from the industry including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, filmmaker Karan Johar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkumar Hirani, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Basu, Imran Khan and his wife Avantika Malik who were a part of Ranbir’s big day.
Ranbir’s cousins Karisma, Kareena Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan, however, were missing from the party. Unlike 2016, when star had a working birthday and celebrated it on the sets of Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos, this year was a grand event.
On this occasion, proud mommy Neetu Kapoor wished her caring son on twitter. Also as Ranbir Kapoor is not on social media, she wrote a note on his behalf to his fans.
Director-producer Karan Johar also wished the birthday boy twitter with a cut caption.
Son of actors Rishi and Neetu, the actor made his acting debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s tragic romance Saawariya in 2007, after which he bagged two consecutive Best Actor awards at Filmfare for romantic drama ‘Rockstar’ (2011) and the comedy drama ‘Barfi!’ (2012) and a starring role in the romantic comedy ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (2013) which is one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films and also established him as a leading Bollywood actor.
Ranbir Kapoor, whose last film at the box office was ‘Jagga Jasoos’ will be next seen in Sunjay Dutt’s untitled biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani in which Ranbir is portraying Dutt’s role.
