Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu who became parents to a baby girl on Friday have decided on a name for her. The proud dad took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the name of his newborn daughter. “We have named our daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Little Inaaya is happy and healthy and she thanks all of you for your love and blessings.” Kemmu posted on Twitter.

Earlier on Friday, the ‘Golmaal Again’ actor had announced the arrival of their first child. “We are over the moon thrilled and delighted to share that we have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl on this very auspicious day. Soha and our gorgeous baby are doing well. We thank you for your kind wishes, love and blessings,” Kemmu had tweeted.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu had tied the knot in January 2015 and have completed two years of marital bliss this year. Speculation about Soha’s pregnancy began when her sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan gave birth to Taimur Ali Khan. It was said that Soha was inspired by Kareena and wanted to start her own family. Not too long after that, Kemmu announced that couple was expecting their first baby.

“Soha and I are very happy to announce a joint production coming later this year — our first child! We feel blessed and thank you all for your good wishes,” he had said. Soha too was elated with her pregnancy and said she was excited and ready to begin the next chapter of her life. She also thanked Kemmu for taking good care of her during the period.

“Kunal and I have been together for nine years now. We feel very blessed and we’re ready for this phase in our life. But I have not felt alone at all. I have my family, and Kunal’s family with me. Kunal has been a wonderful partner throughout, and this phase can be overwhelming for the mother-to-be and the father. He has taken care of me very well,” she had said in an interview with an English daily.

On the work front, Kemmu is awaiting the release of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again. The film, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Tabu, will release on October 20.
