Reportedly, the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati‘ came to a grinding halt because of a fight on the sets, and before you make any guesses, the fight was not between the Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh or Deepika Padukone. The ongoing shoot of ‘Padmawati’ at Film City came to halt for some time due to a fight of Ranveer’s driver and bodyguard.

Ranveer Singh, who is in the headlines for donning the character of ‘Sultan Aladdin Khilji’ in his upcoming movie ‘Padmawati’, has recently been accused of holding up two-month salary of his driver. According to sources, the ongoing shoot of ‘Padmavati’ was brought to halt after loud noises, of the actor’s bodyguard and driver, fighting were heard. Recently, the actor created a lot of buzz after the reports of him playing the legendary cricketer, Kapil Dev in sports drama film ’83’ surfaced.

The ‘Befikre’ actor, Ranveer Singh has reportedly been going through many challenges during the shoot of the movie. Currently, the actor has been accused of not paying driver his two-month salary which is around Rs 85,000.

After continuous warnings from the crew members, when the noise didn’t stop, the director of Padmavati, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, himself stepped out and found his sultan’s driver Sooraj Pal and bodygaurd Vinayak shouting expletives at each other

As per our source, who witnessed the whole scuffle, the fight broke out after Sooraj Pal approached Ranveer’s manager to demand that he be given his two-month salary. After the manager gave a deaf ear to Sooraj’s demands, the manager also asked Vinayak to escort Sooraj out of the sets, following this scene turned ugly and a scuffle broke out.

After Bhansali reached the spot, he told the driver, Sooraj, that he has been fired and will get his dues within a day. As per reports, Sooraj had also contacted actor Ranveer Singh’s sister, in a bid to get his due salary but to no pleas were heard.

According to a daily, the driver now plans to approach the union to register a non-payment complaint.

Early morning on September 3, the actor took to his Twitter handle and revealed the first look of his character, Sultan Alauddin Khilji, which he will be portraying in much talked ‘Padmavati’, the movie is said to be hitting the screens on December 8.
