Makers of Bollywood’s upcoming period drama, Padmavati has finally unveiled it to the fans the look of one of the most awaited character in the movie, ‘Alauddin Khilji’ played by industry’s Befikre actor Ranveer Singh. The looks of other stars in the movie including Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor has already been made public. This multi-starrer by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been roped into various controversies and have faced protests by locals during its shooting previously in Rajasthan.

The film features Deepika Padukone in the title role as Rani Padmini, alongside Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Talking about Ranveer’s look in the movie, who is playing a negative role for the first time in his so far filmi career, the actor’s look does shoots a vibe of negative aura with his long hairs, an arrogant facial appearance and his growling eyes, gives a little insight into how the Bajirao Mastani actor will be something like ‘Sultan Alauddin Khilji’.

Injecting the film’s essence with his own art and style, film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has himself composed the score in this movie.

A few days ago, Shahid Kapoor‘s look, who is playing the role of a King in the movie was released. Speaking on his role, Shahid had said, “When you are playing a King, you need to have a certain personality. At that time, the people used to not be very skinny and lean, so you need to have a manly personality. Basically for that, and to carry those outfits also, Sanjay sir wants me to be a little muscular and a little full. But I will be gaining weight in terms of muscle and not in terms of fat. This is because I am playing the character of a warrior. The Rajput kings had very strong personalities.”

Prior to that, the makers had released Deepika’s look in the movie. The ‘Piku’ actress stunning Queen Padmavati avatar as ‘Rani Padmini’ left fans in frenzy.

While the movie was in making in January 2017, members of Shri Rajput Karni Sena had protested at one of the film sets at Jaigarh Fort alleging film director Bhansali for depicting wrong facts in the film. Their were reports that sets of the movie were also vandalised.

However, the controversy did not end there. Once again coming as a hurdle for Bhansali and other actors, a group of unidentified men once again attacked on the sets of Padmavati in Kolhapur and caused damage to production set, costumes and jewelleries burnt.
