Singing Icon Taylor Swift and NFL celebrity Travis Kelce announced their engagement on Tuesday through an Instagram post. Sharing the news, Swift wrote, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Taylor Swift was in a relationship with Sam Armstrong when she was in high school. The couple broke up after Sam was caught cheating on Swift. Reports say the breakup happened just before Swift was scheduled to release her self-titled debut album Taylor Swift.
