The superheros movies are something that have made many of us relive our childhood memories, and we cannot thank Marvel enough for this. With more than $ 13 billion and 17 movies later, Marvels Cinematic Universe has shown no signs of taking a back-seat. The Marvel Studios seem to know its audiences so well that they have hardly disappointed them with their movies. And with the buzz already created by Avengers: Infinity War, as the fans are super excited for the much-awaited trailer, it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Apart from the entertainment that Marvels movies treat their fans with, its characters — Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and many more, have become more important to its fans. However, if the reports are to be believed, Avengers 4 will mark the end of many superheroes from the MCU.
According to a report in Vanity Fair, Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, revealed, “An end of sorts is near, and will happen in Avengers 4, which will ‘bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale.’” As he did not explain the statement, it remains a little unclear on what he meant. As per the reports doing the rounds, the untitled Avengers 4 film, set to be released in 2019, will mark the end of one of the biggest superheroes of marvel — Captain America donned by Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. as the most loved Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as undisputed The Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as a witty Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as the god of thunder Thor, and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
Marvel Studios president said, “After Avengers 4, an ambitious multi-franchise crossover movie slated for release in 2019, at least some of the original characters who sit at the center of the billion-dollar Avengers team will be hanging up their capes and shields.” If this turns out to be true, Avengers 4 will mark the end of the MCU as we know it. As per sources, the deaths/exits in the Avengers finale are mainly because the contracts of actors like Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Evans, are expiring. Also, many claimed that it has been over 10 years that these actors have been getting under the skin of superheroes and it’s time for them to pass it to the new generation.
Stating that they already have another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from the ones that came before, Feige said that Avengers 4 will bring things that no one has never seen in superhero films: A finale. There will be two distinct periods. “I know it will not be in ways people are expecting,” he added.
