Haryana: 4 dead, other 4 rescued during Ganesh idol immersions in Mahendragarh

Four youngsters may have perished tragically during the immersions of the Ganesh idol in the Mahendragarh district of Haryana, according to the officials on Saturday.

Near a canal in the Jhagadoli hamlet, more than 20 individuals had participated in the immersion. According to the officials, four other youngsters have also been rescued from the area.

“For the immersion of a Ganesh idol, some 20 to 22 persons travelled to a canal close to the Mahendragarh hamlet of Jhagadoli. several of them perished in the river during that time. As of right now, four boys have died and four have been saved without harm “said DC JK Abhir of Mahendragarh.

The rescue efforts are under progress.

Two youngsters drowned during the immersion of Ganesh idols, and one died at the hospital in Unnao, according to the officials on Friday.

The third infant was being treated at the hospital when it was pronounced dead.

According to accounts, the kids went to the Ganga to submerge the Lord Ganesha figurines.

“Two kids drowned to death, while a third passed away in Unnao while receiving medical attention. When the event occurred, they were in route to Kotwali Safipur to immerse Lord Ganesh idols in the Ganga “police reported.
