Four youngsters may have perished tragically during the immersions of the Ganesh idol in the Mahendragarh district of Haryana, according to the officials on Saturday.
Near a canal in the Jhagadoli hamlet, more than 20 individuals had participated in the immersion. According to the officials, four other youngsters have also been rescued from the area.

The rescue efforts are under progress.
Two youngsters drowned during the immersion of Ganesh idols, and one died at the hospital in Unnao, according to the officials on Friday.
The third infant was being treated at the hospital when it was pronounced dead.
According to accounts, the kids went to the Ganga to submerge the Lord Ganesha figurines.
