BAN 333/ 8 at the end of the inning

Australia seals the game by 48 runs. Bangladesh played well ut their bowlers gave away too many runs to chase down and even with outstanding innings from Rahim and Mushfiqur, they fell short by 48 runs.

BAN 329/7 in 49 overs

A century to savour for Mushfiqur Rahim. He will be disappointed it will not be a match-winning inning but the way he played kept Bangladesh in the game for a long period of time.

BAN 310/6 in 47 overs

Things getting out of reach for Bangladesh and Mushfiqur is off strike for a long time now. Their bowlers have conceded too many runs to chase otherwise the batting has shined throughout this tournament for Bangladesh.

BAN 304/6 in 46 overs

Two wickets in the over by Coulter Nile changed the way completely in Australia's favour. Back to back wickets of Mahmadullah and Sabbir Rahman pegged back Bangladesh and they need 78 runs from the last 4 overs

BAN 300/5 in 45 overs

3oo runs up in 45 overs with a towering six from Mahmadullah in that over of Cummins. 82 runs needed now of 30 balls. It's difficult but not impossible if they can keep the run rate of 16 per over till the last over.

BAN 277/4 in 43 overs

1oo runs partnership comes up between Mahmadullah and Mushfiqur. Bangladesh needs 105 runs from the last 7 overs. If they go on to win this match, this will be Bangladesh's best chase ODI till date.

BAN 241/4 in 41 overs

133 runs needed from 54 balls and the match is almost out of Bangladesh's grip now. Run rate creeping up to 16 runs per over now and Mahmudullah is trying to cut loose here.

BAN 234/4 in 39 overs

148 runs needed from the remaining 11 overs. Zampa is back in attack and the batsmen will look to dominate him to make it a big over for Bangladesh. He can get wicket here as well.

BAN 219/4 in 37 overs

Bangladesh needs 163 runs from 78 balls and the tasks seem to be impossible now. Someone has to play a blinder of an inning to keep this match in balance now. Required rate too much to manage now.

BAN 208/4 in 35 overs

174 runs needed from 90 balls and they have as many runs to chase as AUS scored in these many overs. They can do it if they can hold on to their nerves and keep chipping away at runs with smart shot playing.

BAN 201/4 in 34 overs

A lofted off drive on the last ball of the over and 200 is up for Bangladesh. if they can keep wickets in hand and run rate checked under 12 runs per over, they are in with a real chance here. Cummins coming in for his 7th over.

AUS 194/4 in 33 overs

10 runs from that over and the required rate is 10.95 runs per over now for Bangladesh. They are targeting Coulter Nile as he has been struggling for form in this world cup.

BAN 177/4 in 30 overs

Zampa came back with anew spell and go the big wicket of Litton Das with a ball that hurried trough, off the pitch. The review found him out with the umpire's call.

BAN 175/3 in 29 overs

The required run rate of 9.86 and this will be a thrilling chase if Bangladesh can keep wickets in hand and still try to maintain the run rate below 11 per over.

BAN 167/3 in 28 overs

Australia has conceded two boundaries in that Cummins's over and they are leaking runs as Litton Das is turning it on here. Nathan Coulter Nile is back in the attack.

BAN 157/3 in 27 overs

A splendid cover drive by Mushfique off Starc on the last ball of the over and Bangladesh is going decent in this chase of 382. Finch will look to dismiss Mushfiqur now to put pressure on the lower middle order of Bangladesh.

BAN 149/3 in 26 overs

Australia will be looking to get Litton Das as soon as possible before he gets his eye in. He played a brilliant inning of 90 runs against the West Indies to help Bangladesh win that match.

BAN 143/2 in 24 overs

Adam Zampa is going for runs here and Tamim, in particular, has looked to attack him. runs are hard to come from the other bowlers and Tamim has rightly targeted the leg spinner, the lone spinner in the Australian line-up.

BAN 135/2 in 23 overs

A snorter from Starc on the last ball of the over and Mushfiqur was in tangle facing that ball. Lucky for him the edge of the handle didn't carry to the fielder and he survives. Starc has been brought in by Finch to dismiss these stalwarts of Bangladesh.

BAN 129/2 in 22 overs

A good over that one from Zampa for Bangladesh as Mushfiqur hit him for a great six. Tamim needs to hit some boundaries here and support Mushfiqur here to keep the momentum going. Bangladesh is not out of this game, not just yet.

BAN 120/2 in 21 overs

Bangladesh scoring runs at a brisk rate but not enough with the score more than 380 runs they are chasing. Tamim has brought up his fifty but has taken more than 65 balls. Mushfiqur is batting on run a ball on the end.

BAN 105/2 in 19 overs

Gone!! big wicket for Australia as Shakib falls to Stoinis. Bangladesh has lost its most important and in-form batsman of this world cup. Mushfiqur Rahim is the next man in at number 4.

BAN 102/1 in 18 overs

Bangladesh has wickets in hand but Tamim Iqbal going nowhere with his batting and putting pressure on Shakib to keep going with risky shots. He needs to be a bit more proactive in his approach and try to pick bad balls for boundaries now.

BAN 98/1 in 17 overs

Bangladesh is scoring at less than run a ball and the required run rate is more than 8 runs per over. Bangladesh has a steep task ahead to chase this total down in remaining 33 overs. Tamim needs to shift gear now or they will fall way behind the required run rate.

BAN 84/1 in 15 overs

6 singles in that over from Stoinis and Australia is keeping things tight here. They are not searching wickets here and they don't need to search either. They have posted a huge total and will back bowlers to defend.

BAN 78/1 in 14 overs

Brilliant over by Coulter Nile and Bangladesh is under pressure here for the required run rate. The Australian bowling attack is not the easy attack to target 7 runs an over. Shakib needs to play his card well.

BAN 75/1 in 13 overs

Shakib is batting brilliantly here on 31 from 28 balls. He hit two boundaries off Maxwell and Bangladesh are going at approx 6 runs per over. His wicket is crucial for the Australian team and they need to bowl well to him.

BAN 59/1 in 11 overs

6 runs from that Maxwell's over and Bangladesh is going good here but the target they are seeking need more than what they are doing now. Shakib and Tami will have to shift the gear now or else they will fall far off.

BAN 53/1 in 10 overs

a very good drive down the ground finished that over from Coulter Nile and Shakib is looking ominous gain. Australia would like to see his back soon. He has been in terrific form in this world cup.

BAN 49/1 in 9 overs

Short, wide and Shakib in this form could not miss that scoring opportunity. Cummins came back with a full ball, Shakib went across and just hit to fine leg boundary. It was so close that if Shakib had missed that, he was gone for sure.

BAN 41/1 in 8 overs

A close review call from Australi and they have lost the review as the ball pitched outside the leg stump line and Tamim Iqbal survives. He is crucial if Bangladesh has to chase this mountain of runs down in 50 overs.

BAN 37/1 in 7 overs

A decent over for both the teams. Cummins bowled in that over and Tamim took 5runs from that over. Bangladesh needs to strike at a rate more than 7 and they are now playing at 5 runs per over. They need to up their game a bit.

AUS 32/1 in 6 overs

Australian captain surprised by introducing Maxwell in the attack in the power play but batsmen are playing too cautiously and could not capitalise on the spin bowling thrown up by Australia.

BAN 25/1 in 5 overs

A typical over from Starc as he tested the inside and outside edges of the batsmen. They are bowling well and need to be patient for the batsmen's mistakes. They are chasing a huge total and Batsmen need to strike at a fair rate.

BAN 23/1 in 4 overs

Miscommunication between the batsmen and Finch hit the stumps for the first wicket for Australia. Soumya Sarkar, the in-form batsmen for Bangladesh has gone and another inform batsman Shakib al Hasan walks out to the middle.

AUS 19/1 in 3 overs

Two boundaries in that over off Starc. One was chipped over the infield and another was due to the midfield at the fine leg boundary. 10 runs from that over. Australia can't be poor in their fielding efforts here.

BAN 9/0 in 2 overs

Cummins bowled a half volley on the 4th ball and Tamim drove that ball down the ground for four runs. Cummins has to bowl in the channel across the off stump to induce false drives against these batsmen.

BAN 4/0 in 1 over

An economic over to start with from Starc. He didn't bowl too full or short for Sarkar and Tamim to drive or cut him to the boundary. Australia will look to bowl straight on this pitch.

Bangladesh resumes the chase

Soumya Sarkar and Tamim Iqbal walk out to bat for Bangladesh to chase the huge target of 382. How well the Australian bowlers bowl will decide the fate of the match. They will look to swing the ball whereas Bangladesh batsmen will try to gain the advantage of the power play.

AUS 381/5 in 50 overs

The match resumes with Mustafizur with the final over of the inning. Stoinis hit two back to back boundaries to help Australia go past the 380 mark. They have posted a huge total for Bangladesh but still, they will feel they are 20 runs short.

AUS 368/5 in 49 overs

The rain has started Pouring in Nottingham at the end of 49ht over. Australia will feel they are 20 runs short but it seems they have enough in the bank to defend against Bangladesh. Rain is heavy and the restart of Australian inning looks unlikely.

AUS 359/5 in 48 overs

Only 5 runs came off that over from Mustafizur. Australia will be disappointed if they fall short of 380. They need a few big hits and both Carrey and Stoinis are capable of that. They should go big every ball now.

AUS 354/5 in 47 overs

Two wickets in the over for Soumya Sarkar. Both Maxwell and Usman Khwaja is gone now and Sarkar has been the pick f the bowler form the Bangladesh side. This over checks Australia's journey towards 400. Smith comes in now.

AUS 346/2 in 46 overs

Flury of boundaries and Maxwell is up and running and so is the Australian score. Maxwell is tearing the Bangladesh bowle=ing apart here with 26 runs from only 8 balls. If he continues like this, Australi will be well placed for 400 here.

AUS 321/2 in 45 overs

Warner has gone on the slower short ball from Soumya Sarkar who has dismissed both the Australian openers today. He goes for a well made and possibly a match-winning knock of 166 runs. Glen Maxwell is the next man in and he is sent ahead of Steve Smith.

AUS 309/1 in 44 overs

Australia will hope to carry on with the momentum and take the score to as close to 400 as possible. Warner is back to his fluent best and Khwaja has got his timing going today. The score by Australia should be more than Bangladesh was hoping for at the toss.

AUS 296/1 in 43 overs

150 for Warner and he is coming back to his best. Smashed Mortaza over the midwicket and Australia closing in around 300. With 7 overs to go and 9 wickets in hand, Australia will be disappointed if they don't reach the score of 400 in 50 overs.

AUS 282/1 in 42 overs

150 runs partnership comes up for Warner and Khwaja in just 125 balls and they are now targeting every ball to the boundary. four 4s in that last over of Mustafizur and Australia is on the charge now.

AUS 263/1 in 41 overs

One reverse sweep for four and one big six over the mid-wicket boundary and Warner is back to his best it seems. Shakib is having an off day today after his brilliance in the last match against West Indies.

AUS 250 /1 in 40 overs

A slower ball on the first legitimate delivery of the over and Warner cleared his front leg to loft it over the bowler's head for an impressive six. Warner is trying to go hard now and he needs to go big every ball for Australia to post more than 350 runs.
