“BJP Wanted to Attack My Honesty,” Claims Kejriwal In Haryana

Ahead of the Assembly elections in Haryana, AAP National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of getting AAP leaders arrested under false accusations.

Five Guarantees for Haryana

Addressing an election rally in poll-bound Haryana, Kejriwal announced his five guarantees for the people of the state, including:

  1. Free Electricity: “We will make electricity free and waive pending electricity bills.”
  2. Free Medical Services: “We will establish hospitals and Mohalla clinics to provide free medical services.”
  3. Excellent Government Schools: “We will create outstanding government schools for your children.”
  4. Monthly Support for Women: “All women above 18 years of age will receive Rs. 1,000 every month.”
  5. Youth Employment: “We will ensure employment opportunities for the youth.”

Kejriwal emphasized, “Whoever forms the government, it will not be without Kejriwal’s support.”

Responding to Accusations

Kejriwal stated, “The Prime Minister thought that Kejriwal is doing a lot of work. He needs to be stopped. They arrested all our party leaders. They wanted to attack my honesty. They made false accusations, calling me a ‘Bhrashtachari’ and a ‘Chor.’ I am roaming around in Delhi, and people say I can be anything but a ‘Chor.’ I resigned and said that the people of Delhi will decide if I am honest or not.”

Letter to RSS Chief

In a proactive move, Kejriwal wrote a letter urging RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to step in and oversee the activities of the BJP. In the letter, he posed five questions to Bhagwat, asking him to take responsibility in matters related to the BJP.

He questioned, “BJP was born from the womb of RSS; it is the responsibility of RSS to ensure that BJP does not go astray. Did you ever stop Modi ji from doing wrong things?” He also criticized the BJP for aligning with alleged ‘corrupt’ leaders and inducting them into the party.

Upcoming Elections

Haryana will go to the polls on October 5, and the results for both Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir will be declared on October 8.
