Following their optional training session at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Tuesday, October 25, some Team India players were dissatisfied with the meal options.
In the end, the players chose to eat back at the hotel rather than partake in the lunch served at the location by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
As per media reports falafel, bananas, and a package of materials to “build your own sandwich” were the meals served to the Indian players.
To make matters worse, the players complained to the officials present at the site about the meal, calling it “cold and insufficient.”
The cuisine was subpar, according to one of the team player. We are not allowed to have a sandwich after practise.
