Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Kashi Tamil Sangamam on Saturday in Varanasi. The occasion generated a lot of interest on social media.
Hashtag #Kashi Tamil Sangamam was used to spread the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat message to approximately 32 crore Twitter users. However, roughly 64,000 Twitter users used the hashtag through retweets, likes, and replies. More than 25,000 users posted about the event at once using this trend.
A user posted, “whether it Kashi or Tamil Nadu. All of us are Indian citizens. Hearty congratulations to ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’!”
Another user stated, “PM discussed Mahakavi Bharathiyar in #Kashi_Tamil_Sangamam. PM Modi ji remarked that Mahakavi Bharatiyar began to maintain the twisted moustache in Kashi. Added that a seat in BHU has been created in Mahakavi’s honour to promote Tamil and Mahakavi.”
In another post an individual wrote, “The Indian city of Kashi Tamil Sangamam is about to represent the meeting of civilizations. Kasi-Tamil Sangamam is a great resource for understanding India’s rich civilisation via two important historical centres of learning and culture.”
“Honorable PM @narendramodi ji and CM @myogiadityanath ji arranged the “Kashi Tamil Sangamam” in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and it is more than simply a gathering. The oneness of India is shown in a living, magical scenario. #Kashi Tamil Sangamam” added another twitter user.
According to representatives of the Uttar Pradesh government, this month-long Sangamam, will highlight Tamil literature, education, culture, and food. Visitors from Tamil Nadu will also travel to Ayodhya and Prayagraj in addition to Kashi.
Kashi Tamil Sangamam which will be open until December 16, features 75 booths and serves as a bridge between South India and North India through topics like agriculture, culture, literature, music, food, handicrafts, and folk art.
