During his one-day visit to Kutch in election-bound Gujarat, Arvind Kejriwal, the chief of the Aam Aadmi Party and the chief minister of Delhi, is expected to unveil a massive education program.
If the party is elected to power in the state, he is expected to declare free world-class education for everyone.
The Gujarat BJP and AAP have been at odds over education for the past few months.
According to a prominent source and senior Aam Aadmi Party official, “Arvind Kejriwal, national convener of the AAP and chief minister of Delhi, would be in Kutch, Gujarat for a one-day trip. Today, Kejriwal will make the most significant promise in the run-up to the Gujarat elections. In Gujarat, Kejriwal will announce that all students will receive free, top-quality education.”
He stated: “In Gujarat, there are extremely few educational opportunities. The dropout rate is the greatest and the infrastructure is very poor. There are pay gaps for teachers.”
Delhi CM, Kejriwal, would attend a town hall meeting in Bhuj, which is in the Kutch area, a party leader said. The national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will travel to Gujarat for the fourth time this month, where the Assembly elections are scheduled for later this year.
“In Bhuj, Kejriwal will speak at a news conference and a town hall event. He will deliver some crucial messages to the state’s citizens.
In a video message on Monday, Manoj Sorathiya, the general secretary of the AAP Gujarat, stated that the candidate will also meet with party leaders to discuss the upcoming elections.
Additionally, he had stated that if the AAP took control of the BJP-ruled Gujarat, 10 lakh jobs would be generated in five years and would offer a monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 3,000. He travelled to Jamnagar and Bodeli in the tribal-dominated Chhota Udepur district on August 6 and 7.
In addition to concessions for the business community, he had said that if his party won the state, it would execute the Panchayat (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act and the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution for the protection and advancement of tribal people (PESA). On August 10, Kejriwal made a trip to Ahmedabad and pledged to provide every woman in the state with a monthly assistance of Rs 1,000 as a way to combat inflation.
