Tahawwur Rana, who was extradited from the United States late on Wednesday, arrived at Delhi’s Palam airport on a chartered flight carrying him.
According to an official, security has been increased outside Patiala House Court, where Rana is expected to appear on Thursday after being extradited from the United States. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is probably going to formally arrest him and take him to the Tihar jail.
The 64-year-old Canadian national, who was born in Pakistan, is linked to US citizen David Coleman Headley, also known as Daood Gilani, who was one of the primary conspirators of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
